Escaping these 

toxic surroundings.

Leaving through 

the open window. 

Moving towards the 

less traveled horizon. 

The body is disabled 

but the mind 

is still free. 

Almost like flying.

Soaring gently

through the branches. 

Leaving behind the 

tainted knowledge 

collected over time. 

We can only carry 

so much, we can 

only worry so long.

Pausing on the banks 

of the mighty river. 

Inhaling the essence 

of it's aquatic soul. 

Tasting each 

raindrop, becoming 

part of the current. 

Becoming a part of 

the natural flow. 

Scaling each mountain. 

Crossing vast deserts.

Shedding the layers 

of life's complications. 

Everything you know 

has been stripped 

from your conscience. 

Nature cleanses.

Leaving only clarity.
